Ubs acquires Cs..what for traders?
Have read many articles mentioning CS' IBCM desk, but not about UBS, and especially for their trading desk. And this forum seems quiet about this issue.
For insiders both in UBS/CS, what do you think will happen to each group?
Good traders will be cherry-picked, subject to business needs and the rest will be sent to the gallows
Would that apply to CS only? or to UBS too?
Mainly CS will be the ones sent to the audition stage
UBS only cares about CS Asset Management branch, they’ll most likely fire everyone else after a few months and maybe keep FX.
don't know much about CS' bread and butter in trading business, but I imagine FX is the case for them?
I kind of imagined there would be one-to-one comparison btw ubs/cs traders at same product group, and the lagging ones would be cut out. Do you think that's possible?
