Unpaid Training Program

hey guys,

does anyone on this forum have any experience with trading firms that make you start as an unpaid trainee? I think it sounds like an interesting career path, but working unpaid for 4 months sounds brutal.. especially in NYC. If anyone has any advice on this I would really appreciate it. thanks in advance.

Don't do it. Amount of salary is basically how committed the firm is to you. Unpaid means they will take advantage of you if they find some honey in you, else throw you away. Both ways you lose.
