Volcker Rule - BBs still hiring traders?
Why is it that BBs are still hiring traders ? Wasn't the volcker rule supposed to make it illegal for banks to prop trade ?

right ... but thats not what im referring to. i have a friend who swears up and down hes being recruited by a top tier bank (begins with 'U' and ends, appropriately, with 'BS') for a "prop trading" position ... smell bullshit anyone ?
