What Areas to Study to Prepare to be a Macro Trader?
Next year, I will be at a BB (hopefully on an FX or Rates Derivatives desk) and I was wondering if anyone could give any insight on what I should study to hit the ground running. Right now, I am taking a class on derivatives and reading Natenberg, I am also learning python, and reviewing statistics and macroeconomics. What specific areas of these broader subjects should I focus on to best prepare for not only institutional trading but personal trading?
