What can a sophomore do for the summer?

I am a sophomore at a target school and I am set on S&T as a career. I had couple interviews with bb's, but did not get to the superdays for any of them.

What are my options now for this summer? I really want to do something regarding markets.

Apply to more places. Ask people in your network if there are any opportunities they know of, send cold-emails/calls to places, check for opportunities interstate/overseas.

Also have a game plan for what you'd do if you don't get any. Perhaps improving your skills (Programming, Mathematics, Financial Literacy). Time off can be very valuable for yourself, and future employers if you use it right - so don't be too disheartened.
