What do you like/hate about options?
I've recently been learning more about options and was kind of weirded out by the fact that strike price and maturity date choices seem kind of arbitrarily decided.
For option traders out there, I wanted to ask couple questions on what you like/dislike about option contract choices.
1) Are there enough strikes & maturity dates? Why or why not?
2) Are the strike price and maturity date increments too big or too low? Why or why not?
3) Do you like the fact that maturity dates are only on Fridays? Why don't options expire during the week?
This feels irrelevant to trading, but I was just curious. Looking for sincere answers. Thanks!
