What is Equity Derivatives structuring?

I am doing interviews for final round from a bulge bracket for an internship with an equity derivative structuring. I’m from a quantitive background and I’ve done a quantitive research internship. Can someone describe what the role actually involves and what are the hours exit opportunities and culture like? What are the skills that I can take away from this internship? Honestly, find nothing about structuring on the Internet and so hopefully someone can help me out

You create bespoke derivative solutions that specifically fit the needs of the client. The structuring teams either combine already existing products or need to price a completely new one.

What skills do you learn that are exclusive to structuring? Why would anyone pursue this role?
