What to carry all of my papers/materials as an SA?

I will be working as a SA at GS this summer in one of trading/AM. What should I use/ what do most people use as a backpack to transport things back and forth from work and my apartment? This might be a silly question, but I really have no idea. I was thinking that maybe I would take a backpack, but I imagine that probably looks unprofessional. Other options that I was thinking of are: 1. A briefcase 2. A computer bag 3. Just a Binder.

Will a Binder be enough to store all I need?

Thanks!

I use a computer bag. But you'll be a SA, so I think people would understand if you had a backpack if you couldn't afford going and picking up a nice leather briefcase. You might catch some shit for it, but just remind them that it's you who has the 10 incher, not them.

Nah.... just papers/pencils/laptops/etc back and forth from work/home. I also imagine that I'd be receiving a bunch of handouts during orientation, so I need some place to store everything.

I suggest using a big black trashbag. It helps if you're wearing it over your suit- with holes cut to stick your arms through- so you don't have to carry it. Show up with a disheveled appearance, and you'll be in great shape. :D

In all seriousness, it really doesn't matter. You can carry it by hand, in a folder, in a briefcase, duffel bag, I've even seen one guy pull it off shoved halfway into his pants (under a suit jacket.) Stop worrying; whatever you do (assuming you don't show up to work wearing a trash bag) will probably be just fine.
