What to prepare to impress the sales team at the interview?

I came across an opportunity to sell the equity at the broker who is my potential client for my current company . He thought that I will be great to be their sales and is convinced that I have substantial financial knowledge. (probably because of the school I went to)

I plan to pick up the industry knowledge before the interview in 3 weeks time. . Other than studying the trends, learning about stocks, showing them the list of the clients that I have. Any good advice here

Additionally, how I can demonstrate my ability to 'generate ideas' when I haven't got the great idea about stock market?

Thanks!

Just come up with an unconventional sector/asset class thy very few are talking about and one in which he probably won't know/never thought about. It shows you have original ideas and he won't know about it so it will piqué his interest and he wont have any come back with a disposition on your idea
