What to wear for a Desk Visit

In the next couple weeks I am going to be visiting a couple different equity s&t desks and was wondering what should I wear to these? I was thinking a suit with a tie in my back pocket just in-case I need it. Has anyone done this or have recommendations?

Slacks, loafers, button down sport shirt, and a black North Face vest.

Definitely a fleece vest, could also go with Navy depending on the bank. Gucci horsebit loafers would be ideal as well.

No need to make any fashion statements, but look sharp. As you are on their premises, have your jacket & tie on - you may be able to take it off as the situation dictates...good loafers are a must.
