Who are the main parties that a physical oil trader (think: vitol/glen/traf) would be in contact with on a semi-regular basis?

Anyone and everyone that’s willing to sell or buy from them. Plastic companions, refineries, banks, other trade houses, super-majors, etc…
This is more on the lines of what I was thinking of. If a manufacturing company (plastics) requires oil in their production process, how would an oil trader fit into the equation? Would the oil trader be in talks with the procurement team in the mfg co ?
