it will literally take an hour to read it and you will probably get at least something out of it so just do it
Get the WSO guides.. technical and fundamental guides, if you want more in-depth analysis too.
I would say just skim over vault really fast
So I was reading the description on the technical guide, for S&T interviews will you be asked to about DCFs, financial statements, etc.? I always thought that was geared more towards i-banking interviews.
You won't be asked about valuations at S&T interviews (at least not from my experiences). Focus on brain teasers, fit, market questions, and product knowledge (e.g. if interviewing for Fixed Income, know yields, interest rates, etc...). Honestly, at the level we're interviewing for, crazy technicals are almost always reserved for certain places (e.g. GS or prop shops).
it integrates both. The 6-7 topics ( Accounting Finance & Valuation, Stocks, Bonds and Interest rates, Currencies, Options and Dervatives, M&A) are leveled (basic, intermediate, advanced) according to the difficulty of the questions.
It is pretty cheap and very informative. I have it and I feel like it would be a good investment for anyone trying to break in the industry.
My 2 cents
