Direct Promotion at MBB vs. Join Unicorn Startup
Hi there,
I am in my mid twenties and have received a direct promotion offer from an MBB to a post-MBA consulting position. I also have an offer for Biz Ops at a tech unicorn startup. Compensation is roughly similar, but obviously startup has more risk and less liquidity.
What should I do?
Unless the unicorn role is a high-up strategy/management role I would take MBB. MBB will set you for the chance to enter solid start-ups at a more senior level. I personally don't like the idea of being mid-level at a start-up but it's a personal preference.
