Dropping sophomore SA position for my startup?

I'm a sophomore at a HYPSM school studying computer science and facing a dilemma. I have a sophomore summer IB SA position at a BB lined up, and was originally planning to go down the finance route long term. However, I've been talking with a few VC's recently about a startup idea I have, which seems pretty promising, and have scrounged together about 2 mm of committed capital. This seems like an incredibly opportunity and life changing if I can make it work. I really want to drop my IB SA position and just go full steam ahead with this. Any reason I shouldn't?

VCs gave you $2M and gave you the option to do the internship?

No I'd have to give up my internship (and probably take a leave from school) to work on my startup
