I think a big factor here is that after high school they go on mission for 2 years. Whether it be somewhere in the US or South America etc. I think that extra time gives them a bit more perspective and maturity. Also, they don’t drink and engage in a lot of the degenerate shit people (like myself) did in college. All the power to BYU, couldn’t be me.
