Elite Venture Firms in 2025?
Currently an investor in growth at Insight/Summit/GA planning to recruit for venture. This is my list so far of firms to network with. Which are attainable? Any other firm suggestions would be appreciated:

i can tell you with absolute confidence that based on your background and the fact that you are posting here, you are not getting a job at Sequoia, FF, KP, Thrive, Greenoaks, Greylock, KV, Menlo, Benchmark, USV, Index, Accel.
BVP, Coatue, A16z, GC, LSVP, NEA, Lux, maybe. but getting a job at any of the funds above is close to impossible. look at their headcount and hiring patterns. good luck
Disagree - Sequoia, Kleiner, Thrive, Greenoaks, Menlo, and Accel have all hired recently. It's definitely an uphill but I wouldnt say impossible.
how do these firms even do hiring?
Why? Do those firms only hire past founders?
What separates the names in your first list from the names in your second list? At least from an outsider's perspective, it feels like a Thrive or a KP are on a similar level as an A16Z or a LSVP, so what makes you say that the former are more selective?
How realistic is it that an analyst at Insight or an equivalent can make the jump to a top VC?
Very unrealistic given that Insight analysts only do sourcing bitchwork
