Growth Equity in Spain
What is the growth ecosystem like in Spain ?
What are funds? Are those mostly Spanish/Iberia focused or do any of them invest internationally as well? Also what’s the concentration of funds like across Barcelona/Madrid, is one city better than the other ? (It seems like early stage is more centred around BCN)
Also, is it fairly doable for internationals to work in those places (with a decent but non native level of Spanish) and is London exp valuable, for example to move from Associate to Sr Associate/VP?

From being (tangentially) involved in deals in the region, your Spanish should be good enough to be able to negotiate legal docs.
