Has anyone ever interviewed for a Growth Equity analyst role (out of undergrad)
I have some interviews coming up and I have no idea what to expect because I've only done investment banking related internships before then. Are case studies usual? Modeling tests? Are they usually more behavioral? I see some past posts saying DCFs and LBOs but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me given the kind of companies that growth equity firms actually invest in
What places are you interviewing? The structure can vary by firm and size.
Generally however, they tend to be a lot less technical on the things BBs focus in on, and much more centered around behavioral/fit questions, knowledge of specific tech/software sub-sectors, portfolio companies, and SaaS metrics.
