How’s Software Growth Equity for mid level?

What’s the market like for software GE at the snr associate to Principal level at the moment? Feels kind of squeezed where PE moved in for the bootstrapped ones and VC for the ai/growth type ones.

Sourcing alpha basically gone with everyone using the same sourcing tech and ai diligence. Small deals als getting banked.

Views on current/future opportunity and pay at mid level?

It’s exactly as you described in terms of getting squeezed. Not sure this has any effect on pay but expect it to impact fund performance and availability of roles.
