Incoming at MBB. GE recruiting timeline?

Incoming at MBB in a few weeks and interested to hear if anyone has made the jump to a growth fund directly before. I’ve seen a few people go to buyout funds from my firm but I personally think the work at a growth fund would be more interesting.

Is the jump over to a fund like Insight, Summit, etc. or one of the growth arms of the MFs possible? If so, what does the timeline for recruiting look like and should I prioritize any specific case work (outside of doing DDs) to prepare?
