Is it a bad idea to take a year out after uni to try tech startup stuff and then go into IB if it doesn't work out?
How badly would this effect my competitiveness when applying as an analyst in IB.
I feel that if I don't take that year after uni to try something like a startup, I will never be able to. Will IBs care that I'm a year older than all their incoming analyst applicants?
