Long-Only Asset Management to VC?
Associate at a <50bn boutique LO. Resume is pretty good as I went to a top target (not HYP, but top 5 school) did equity research at a top bank/analyst in a decently hot sector (not industrials or transportation, but not software either). Worked on a few IPO deals there as well... I can model decently well and know a few people in the VC space... would I have any shot if I wanted to switch? Would be super helpful to chat with anyone who made the switch!
