Medical Doctor -> Finnance/VC?

Looking for opportunities for finance specifically with a concentration of biotech as I am a student with biotech experience and about to graduate with a medical degree. I am wondering if VC would be an appropriate route and was wondering of any specific place to look for these types of internship opportunities or maybe if someone could provide a good link to how they would get an off-cycle biotech equity analysis internship or an off cycle VC internship. Really just interested in the role of finance and want to try it out in some capacity
