No vesting schedule for carry- weird?
Basically the title. Been interviewing for a junior position that comes with a bit of carry. Apparently though, it comes with no vesting schedule. I've never heard of this before and am wondering how exactly that would work. Hypothetically doesn't this mean someone could just be hired, quit quickly after, and still be entitled to their carry?
I'm really not considering anything nefarious like that, but it just strikes me as odd and as a bit of a red flag that they'd structure this in such an unfavorable way for themselves.
