Preparing for a VC case study - Guidance needed.
I have had a look around the forums and for some public materials, but I'm kinda at a loss.
My previous experience is at a Fintech startup, so I have equipped myself with some accountancy and cursory modelling skills. I am being interviewed by a smallish VC which focuses on up to series A round investments, across various tech spaces. The position is for an analyst. We have had a few back and forth calls, they now want me to do a mock assessment of an investment opportunity.
What do I need to know? I have reviewed the most common financial ratios and how to build a 3-statement model. Where else should I be focusing?
