Returning to VC After Working in Series A Startup

Want to get advice from people on a career path pondering:

I was a VC Associate covering the consumer sector for >2 years before making the jump into a Finance & Operations role at a CPG startup. I've learned a TON helping the company with their fundraise, supply chain, strategic finance, and product development but I sometimes miss the VC lifestyle more due to higher $/hour and less execution risk.

Is there a pathway for me to return to VC as a Senior Associate/Principal? I remember startup experience was consistently cited as necessary for me when I first recruited for VC so I imagine my current experience can be a value-add? Any advice would be appreciated. FYI I like my old fund but don't want to return to it
