Startup vs Big Tech Internship for Recruiting
Hi all, I'm a rising sophomore at Stanford interested in recruiting for MBB summer 2023. Previously, I've interned at a mid-sized tech company as a product management intern. During the school year, I'm planning on doing a VC internship.
For next summer, I'm deciding whether to pursue a product internship at a startup (Series A/B, backed by a16z) or at a larger/more recognizable company such as Poshmark/TikTok. I think I'd learn more working for a startup, but I'm worried it'll look worse for recruiting. What do you guys think?
