Top UMM PE to top VC/GE firms

I am currently recruiting at top UMM PE firms (think Berkshire, L Catterton, NMC, etc.) before going to business school (I was admitted to HBS 2+2). Afterward, I hope to become a VC or growth investor. However, I was wondering how top VC and growth firms would view these PE firms. I know they are all very well-respected brands in the PE world, but they may not be as well-known to VCs since they usually don't have IB/PE backgrounds. I am sure they are well-known at places like Insight, General Atlantic, etc since they hire bankers but I am wondering if they would also be recognized at top VC growth firms like Sequoia.
