Undergrad Straight into PE/VC?
Hey WSO,
I wanted to share some of my thoughts relating to PE as my friends were wondering the same things, so I hope this post can reach more people than just my friend group and me.
The Pickle in Discussion:
Private Equity. Sounds really dope to me and I am starting recruiting for some firms right now to take advantage of their SA roles. However, I am not sure if it would be the best thing to do. Typically, it seems like associates benefit from working 2-3 years before taking a role in MM/MF. In my case, I would love to go more towards the VC route as I have a background in entrepreneurship. I know this is different than PE, but if anyone had advice/experiance on if it's worth it to try and go straight in or do something before I would appreciate it!
