VC Internship
Would having a VC internship abroad look good for Investment Banks? I am currently a Freshman, and I'm guessing any sort of experience would look good, especially with the accelerated recruiting schedule.
What are your guys thoughts?
Yes, anything you can do this summer would help. However... have a good answer as to why you want to do/stay in IB (even if you don't).
Firms know that ultimately most people want to exit to PE/VC in a few years, but having buy side on your resume might get you some questions about it and you need to have some legit-sounding reason as to why you prefer IB/sell side and will stick with it.
