VC Internship as a Freshman?
I'm a freshman at Stanford and I'm a part of the top entrepreneurship/finance clubs here. I know VC is quite difficult to get as a freshman, but thought I would shoot my shot anyway. How would you suggest I go about with it? I have deep knowledge in Space-tech and Energy-tech, but I haven't found any Bay Area firms nor any partners at any generalist Bay Area firms to be focused on these niches. Do you suggest the typical finance recruitment coffee chat approach, or do I do something like writing investment memos with financial models for a few potential investments and send them to partners?
