Bank of America- Wealth Management

Hi all,

I know that each bank organizes its wealth management programs in different ways. However, I was wondering if anyone could explain the organization for BofA. I understand that advisors work with clients and there are different support teams that help out the advisors- such as the investment solutions group. However, what is the career progression for analysts on one of the teams in say the investment solutions group? Any idea about salary expectations and progressions for these analysts? Any idea on exit opportunities?

Dude, every turd at a WM firm gets titled a VP to look like the client is talking to somebody valuable.  Sorry, but it means nothing.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

that was completely unrelated to the topic. thanks tho

Dude, you're the one completely out in left field. Unlike you I spent time in WM. VP is just a pretty title.  To be less than a VP in WM is an insult.  To give you context, I'm a Sr. Analyst at one of the biggest AM firms in the world, and my boss is a SMD. I know titles, and WM loves to embellish.

I didn’t ask about VP or about titles. I just wanted to know about BofA’s wealth management program. I have no idea what you’re talking about
