Hi I’m very Basic. And this is a basic question, aka a stupid question. Why do REIT values drop over time? If you look at EARN over the last 10 years the value has been slowly dropping (except for this year where there is a precipitous drop). The question is regarding the Long term trend not the short term happenings of this year.
