BB PWM

I am pretty new to the finance world. I have been following this website for about a month now and have really started to understand how to break in. I am currently a sophomore at a non-target and i realize that a BB internship is a long shot for the summer in between junior year. Alot of people have told me to get a BB PWM internship. Is there any place where i could get some more info on this or a list of people to start contacting. my dream is to get into sales and trading so maybe you could offer some suggestions on doing an internship that would place me best for this next year and also be a good starting block. thanks for your help

PWM internships are basically like candy. They're easy to get and not that complicated. What region are you located in? For S&T, you may be better off trying to get a trading assistant role at a small prop shop.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

So if you want to do something outside of your region, you need to do it as a summer analyst. In my opinion, if you spend an entire summer in PWM you're kind of wasting it, but whatever.

Network with alumni from your school. Talk to people at your local branch offices of BB PWM arms and see if they can connect you with people in New York. Search this forum. Search online. Use your school's career services office. There's lots you can do.
