It depends on the group. Some of the groups are F&DS, Corp Valuation, Restructuring, etc. What group are you going in?

For the Val group, out of B school its about 65+ in the South, in Northeast its about 75+, bonus is about 5 - 20%, but your raises can be 15%+. For multiple yrs people earned double digit raises.

It is well respected in its business lines and the analysts are well trained in their art. Ranks equal to PWC, Duff & Phelps.

FAS is a decent place to work compared to the a few other places. The hours can be insane at times, but the average is 60+, it’s pretty slow during the summer. You will be very well trained in the corp valuation (I think better then IB), and they highly recommend the CFA program. As a 1st year, there is not much travel. In the NY office (50+), you'll be working in an industry group, i.e. TMT, Energy etc, but in a regional office like Atlanta (30+), you will be a generalist. Most of you time will be spend building DCF, WACC's, comp searches, and writing reports.
