Deutsche Bank Jacksonville vs PE wealth management offer

What would people choose if they had a front office markets position with DB but also had a private wealth management offer for a BB in more typical financial hub. What do people think of the two, what would my exit opportunities out of a regional office be like if I wanted to move to NYC after several years?

I would expect it to take several years at least though to transition/make a internal move/join another bank. Does he enjoy what he does, what does he dislike about it? Thanks

DB JAX is a joke.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

have talked to those guys and have some classmates at DB Jax. Heard base pay + bonuses are below st b/c Jax is a "cost-cutting" office. They justify it by saying that you work in FL (pretty nice) and there's no state taxes...

You'll be able to celebrate all of your big deal closings at the local Applebee's (or, for the really special deals, at the Cheesecake Factory!).

(I once worked/lived there for the three longest months of my life.)

If you're celebrating at the town center, at least go to French Fry Heaven, a truly cultural experience.

(I once lived there for the sixteen longest years of my life)

You mean he wasn't chosen solely based upon dropping off passengers at a theme park for a few summers??? /sarcasm

Thanks for elucidating my implied point though.

Goldenglobe WalMartShopper:

if this guy can go from monorail pilot to svp at paulson and co, you can do anything:

The rest of his resume will tell you why he's working for Paulson.

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

Hey, sorry I haven't been up here for a while. She accepted the offer a few years ago after an internship at one of their europe branch (IBD). I can tell you the pay was definitely below street level. I'm pretty sure the base of a 1st year in NYC topped her all comp. If it means anything, the cost of living is definitely crazy-low.

That being said, if you really want to save money and pay off debts, maybe DB JAX is not a bad idea.(She shares a 3 beds with 2 other roommates and her monthly rent: 500USD.) It takes about 2-4 years to get an internal transfer to a bigger city if you're really good.

In another hand, doing PWM in a finance hub will gives you direct access to the network in the city, in 2-4 year's time, you might get to go a little further than transferring from JAX.

Bourbon all day.

Will DB JAX give you career mobility? - NO! Will DB Jax give you respect with your finance peers? - NO! Will you be able to save money working at DB Jax? - Not unless you can save money living on about 35k a year.

If I was less lazy I would make a video like this for DB JAX:

Sunt animi itaque maiores ducimus. Facilis praesentium quia pariatur ad dignissimos. Inventore omnis quam dolorem et quae quidem cum dicta.

Ut quia sunt velit debitis fugiat. Impedit fugit asperiores praesentium. Ut nihil ducimus est quia voluptate quasi.

Eveniet iste consectetur et. Qui et qui sed quo aut cum saepe. Corporis impedit quibusdam alias quaerat quo. Possimus quia rerum temporibus iusto accusantium rerum nisi impedit.

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!
