It’s been 2 weeks since my final rounds at GS in west palm. My application still says under consideration on the website. I went through 6-7 rounds of interviews including a superday. I basically met the entire team. I was told by some members i interviewed with that the interview process is long, however haven’t heard back from the thank you email I sent the day after super day. I am more than qualified for the position, even listed on website as a lateral hire. I currently have the exact same job at UBS. Is it crazy to think I’m still in the running?

Why don’t you follow up?
If you follow up, then you know you got dinged. This way, you have a tiny bit of hope in case someone doesn't sign.
That makes no sense
For instance, if you ask for an answer and they email you back, you know for sure you did not get it. Straight rejection.
But, if you wait, you have a small ounce of hope (or denial) that maybe you're in waitlist and the first person might not accept the offer so you might still get it.
All psychological. I'm not saying there is a chance that OP will get it if s/he does not reach out.
Followed up the day after, with a thank you email but I was told they never respond to those Ty emails anyway. I was thinking following up at the 21 day mark?
