Freshman PWM Internship

I'm planning to reach out to some PWM branch managers from my home town after I receive my first semester GPA. Should I include my resume and LinkedIn in the first email or just reach out regarding my interest and that I want an internship? Any help is welcome, sorry if I'm uninformed

Don't include your linkedin profile ever, and only send your resume if they ask you. Just reach out and say that you are reaching out to see if they might have any opportunities. Reach out to as many as you can find, because it is inevitable that a good portion of them will either say that they don't have any roles open, they aren't taking interns, or just simply not respond at all. Increasing the number of firms that you reach out to will increase your chances of getting an internship. Here's an email format to help you get started.
