JPM Private Bank vs Private Wealth Managmenet - first year analyst salary diff?
Anybody know the salary differences for first year analysts?
I understand the difference between the two distinctions (PB vs PWM)... although I went through the interview process and still don't know which I interviewed with.
Got this email:
"We suggested you would be a good fit for either the Chicago or Minneapolis markets. I will follow-up with our hiring contact and will let you know where they are in the process. You are a very strong candidate. I hope to get back to you soon."
Anybody know what to expect from here on out? This was after a dinner and on-campus interview. Will I have to interview again? Does chicago mean "chicago" or... suburb office?
Thanks for any help
Chicago probably means Chicago, you can find out by checking out their office locations on their website.
If it's PWM I'd be surprised if it was actually down-town down-town, though it may be in a "Chicago" area code.
Chicago could mean downtown (where there are a number of teams) or Chicago suburbs. You could even work out of the downtown Chicago office a few days a week and in a suburban office the other days.
In regards to comp, it is adjusted for cost of living. That basiclly means that NYC analysts get paid more.
^ tan is right about Chicago....But I didn't know the comp was adjusted for the cost of living? I worked there as a PWM SA in a regional office. One of the analysts got transferred to NY and was bitching about the salary not being adjusted for the cost of living.
