Moving from Smaller Firm to BB?

I received an offer to be a PWM at a smaller firm ($1.5 B) that does a bit of PE and PWM. I'll be an analyst for the PWM side but also support the PE side a bit. It doesn't seem like there are all that many opportunities to grow and comp seems to limit out in the low six figures. My understanding is that the growth potential is much bigger at BB. Is there any way to move over or is an MBA really needed?

Degree is in marketing, so I'm wanting to take any chance I can get.
