/Private Client Associate/ Wealth management exit opps questiom

As someone working in wealth management at a prestigious  investment manager 800B + AUM I am looking to learn more about possible career paths that I can take. There is great opportunity for lateraling at this firm, so I could go into an equities or investment analyst role in order to transition into a better career path. What are your thoughts on the best exit opps. By best exit opps I mean highest salary.
