Private Equity Vs. Wealth Management Internship

I just finished my sophomore year of college and I have internship offers from boutique PE and WM firms for this summer. My ultimate goal is to get a IB internship after my junior year so I am wondering which option would look best on my resume and give me the most relevant experience/give me the best shot to break into banking. Any thoughts? Thank you.
Boutique PE. While you're unlikely to be doing much substantive work at either place, PE skillset is much more aligned to IB. You should be able to get exposure to / learn a few things that you can spin pretty easily to "why ib"
WM internships also tend to be more common, so having PE on your resume helps you stand out a bit if you can speak to it alright

take it from someone in PWM, don't do PWM as an intern.

Yeah, PWM internships are pretty much just coffee fetching (from what I hear) since you can't actually engage the clients. If it's all the same to you, the PE internship will definitely look better and likely will give you a better learning experience.
