PWM to Product Specialist

Currently work in a client facing role on the investment side of a major private bank. CFA charterholder. Been in my job for maybe 2 months now and been in PWM since college (2015). Beginning to realize I just don't like PWM very much as far as dealing with clients, the investment side not being very stimulating and the culture is just BS sales in my opinion. I thought changing firms would help but it hasn't.

There's been a job opening for a product analyst role at a major firm come open ($100b+ AUM) and would be something I think I'd much rather enjoy. I've spoken to 20+ people in these sorts of roles over the years and I like the idea of what they do acting as an in between between wholesalers and actual PMs.

My only reservation is that I've been in my current role for 2 months. Is this actually that bad of a look? If I knew this job was coming open I would've bitten the bullet for a few more months but alas...
