Roommate(s) Wanted for NYC

So I just got my start date (June 20) and I am looking for any other first year analysts who need roommates starting around there. I was hoping to move in around June 13 so I would have a week or so to settle in.

Most of my friends are going to be working in Boston so I don't really know anyone that's going to be in NY. I'll be doing MM IBD.

I'll be working near grand central so I would like to live either a 15-20 minute walking distance or a 10-15 minute subway ride away. I think the most rent I'd like to pay is probably $1,300 or $1,400.

Let me know if you are interested or if anyone has any suggestions on where I can find roommates or what areas of the city I should look to find an apartment.

Also, is it possibly to start rent in the middle of the month or is it only on the 1st of every month.
