Small PWM internship or summer school?
Hey guys, I will be transferring to a top west coast university as a junior this fall and during the summer I have the opportunity for an internship at a small PWM firm. Do you think a sophomore internship is really all that useful, or would I be better off just taking a summer class?
I wanted to do an internship because I've heard sometimes people look down on transfer students, even from top universities.
Any input would be very helpful. Thank you for your time.
nobody cares that you're a transfer. that is irrelevant to whether or not you should do an internship. if it's a "small" PWM group, my first thought without knowing more is that it's probably going to suck, but you should always choose experience over school in my opinion.
Why not both?
Summer school is shit, experience is the way to go ;)
Work experience hands down. You need something on your resume for the next year. Do both if possible though. Sounds like it would be fairly manageable .
Both, or internship.
If you just need general credits, take some online classes at a community college while you are at the internship. It will be much cheaper and easier too.
PWM or both
