UBS Wealth Management Question

Curious to know - who are the client base in working in UBS wealth management? Obviously high net worth individuals would serve as primary clientele, would one get much interaction with University Endowments or would that be more towards Asset Management?Appreciate any and all insight. Thanks.

Like you suggested, wealth management is generally focused on HNW individuals, whereas asset management is mainly working with institutional clients. The difference is that a large part of wealth management deals with estate planning, retirement planning, tax efficiency, etc. Asset management is largely focused on generating risk adjusted excess returns. All that’s to say that UBS WM is most likely working with individuals and their families. I’m sure that UBS has an AM arm though.
