I worked in PWM last summer. I really enjoyed it. Some basic questions I was asked were 1) If given X amount of money, how would you invest? 2) What is the difference between Asset Management and wealth management? 3)Be able to talk at a high level (at minimum) about the markets and be prepared for a question like 4) What have you been following in the market and how would it impact our clients? I would also practice behavioral questions. I imagine most of the interview would consist of that. Many people overlook the importance of this and it could really help you separate yourself from other candidates. Also, show your passion for the role. This is always important.

It probably helps to realize that this interview won't really matter in your broader picture. Even if you don't get this job, you'll have way more interviews down the line. Way, WAY more interviews-- by the time I graduated from college, I had probably gone through over 60 job interviews. This is just your first, relatively unimportant step on a long journey. Don't stress out about it.

quick overview to Monkeydudes examples 1) If given X amount of money, how would you invest?

"Well IT DEPENDS on my risk profile and where I am at in my life cycle etc."

2) What is the difference between Asset Management and wealth management?

give brief overview; then "From what I have read, I FEEL LIKE I ALIGN MORE WITH PWM" etc

3) Be able to talk at a high level (at minimum) about the markets and be prepared for a question like 4) What have you been following in the market and how would it impact our clients?

"I have been reading on Bloomberg/WSJ about the presidency/fed reserve/tesla and how it will affect markets blah blah blah" (be sure to remain neutral on politics) etc

Saying you don't know about a certain question or topic is ok, making up a lie is never ok

When is your interview? And in terms of dealing with being nervous.. I think it just takes time. I still get nervous when I have some big interviews but the more you do the better you'll get.
