Wealth Management is better than Investment Banking?

Since I started WSO I have had many comments under my IB posts from different people saying that IB is not worth it.

They gave me their main points which were:

  • Work Life balance

  • Difficulty to enter

  • Job security ,,,,and more

Many people also took the liberty to promote wealth management which is never something I seriously considered before. Most said it was due to good pay and the ability to get in.

So I ask you all, is this true or a bunch of bologna?
