2019 APD MBB Full Time (Class of 2020)

So ... Some of you might think it is too early to start talking about next year, but I believe while preparing ourselves to apply for the next class, we will have a lot of questions that we would like'em answered and clarified.

I am starting this thread to share information about:

1- First Stop is McKinsey Insight and Bridge to BCG (coming in early February as I have been told by recruiters at both firms)
2- Case Material Prep (WSO course, Victor's LOMS ... )
3- Target Offices / Locations (some offices are more challenging to get in than others?)
4- Updates: Dates of when you applied, heard back, accepted, rejected etc...
5- Background Sharing and Advises from experts
6- NETWORKING - KINNNNG (LinkedIn? Cold Emails?)
7- Non Target Schools Cases
8- Fit Questions

And other questions APD candidates might have....

I will Start and share my Background

1- PhD Engineering - GPA 4.0/4.0 (I do not know if my school is a target; the main school campus is one of the top in the US, but I attend a different campus location than the one ranking among the top)
2- Professional Engineering Experience (4 years) in auto industry at one of the big 3 in USA
3- Masters in Mechanical Engineering (3.9/4.0) and Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
4- target office (Midwest)

Changing Careers from Engineering to Consulting .... Have done ~ 12 cases so far (McKinsey Style).
