BMO Capital Markets Buyside Exits in 2020

Just received an offer from BMO Capital Markets in its NYC office. Only offer I managed to get so I'm gonna take it. What's the placement for BMO's NYC office in MF PE, UMF PE, MM PE, and etc, broken down in its industry and product groups? Would it best to lateral after a year to an EB or reputable BB before starting PE recruiting or would it be best to just stay the full 2 year course and do the On cycle and Off cycle recruitment? Just want to gauge my chances for PE recruitment from this firm as I've heard the deal flow is not really there and I don't want to be fucked over when it comes to PE placements. What groups in that office are the best for said Exists? I've heard M&A and LevFin are good but nonetheless curious because a quick LinkedIn search doesn't yield good results on placement. Current BMO analysts/associate and those knowledgeable on the firm, please chime in. Thanks in advance.
